which people? i have always prefered clear alcohols to dark but i have plenty of friends who still drink dark alcohol. i guess it's just personal preference. maybe clears are more tasteless and more mixable with other drinks. i don't know. good luck in your quest for knowledge.

To reduce the severity of hangovers? I like my rye, but Bloody Ceasers work much better the next day.

the hangover thing mabe but the following day you can smell it if someone drank dark drinks last night. especially if it was a lot. its almost like they are sweating it out if their system.
