Are we deceived?

The Bible says " If we think we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
Also that "there is not one good, no, not one"
Do we see our sin and rebellion and separation from God and the need for God's saving?

Many are deceived because they think that Father God is going to allow man to decide the conditions for salvation. We have a big problem with that in the churches in America. It will destroy America if not checked.

Unfortunately, most Christians think that they are already goody-goody and only those who have not accepted Christ are sinners and some even think that they can sin again and again & then ask God for forgiveness before they die but no one knows when each is going to meet their maker, isn't it? How sad! We all need God's grace to see the TRUTH in ourselves and CHANGE in our hearts so that we can stop SINNING that our redemption through the blood of Christ will not be in vain. We have to stop deceiving ourselves and making excuses like we're human, we'll try not to sin. Don't try -

The Bible does not teach that Jesus is God? John 10:36

The human soul is not immortal? Ez. 18:4, 20

Jehovah is God's personal name? Ps. 83:18

Not all good people go to heaven? Ps. 37:29

True Christians do not celebrate pagan holidays like Christmas, Easter and Halloween?

The dead are unconsious? Eccl. 9:5

We are called by God to turn from sin. In fact, all men everywhere are commanded by God to repent of their sins (Acts 17:30). God's longsuffering leads us to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9) as does His kindness (Rom. 2:4).

There is true and false repentance, "For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death" (2 Cor. 7:10).

It tears me apart at times to know there is a chance that there are those whom I name as friends who may not be where I hope to be for Christs sake.

sorry to answer a question with a question but ... how exactly can one be separated from the omnipresent?

and according to the Bible the Bible god knows before the creation of each soul where that soul will end up therefore you can not be saved if you're already predestined to go to hell.

we all sin we are just fooling ourselves if we think we are above it. To admit that we are human and sometimes weak and tempted by things, we are afrain and instead of believing in the protection and guidence we take on the world and think we can control things better. We must have total faith in our maker and know that what goes on in our lives will teach us and make us better people. When bad things happen we tend to ask "Why would God let this happen"? When God gave us free will, he made us decide if we are going to do things. like driving drunk or taking something that doesnt belong to us, or cheating someone of their money or property, we are made fun of if we are honest, told we are nuts to give the item back and are told so many times a day by tv, radio, news papers, billboards and the internet that if we just live here or drive this and wear that, we will feel the goodness, the happiness and contentment we all desire. Well alot of people drink, do drugs and take meds to numb our feelings because we know it is all wrong. We are made to be afraid. TV shocks us with the bad news and they want us to follow what they say, they want to control you and they do. It has become so bad that we all have security systems, guns, and things to protect us from teh evil. The only thing that will make us really happy is to be a wonderful person, honest, ethical, a person of your word, a hard worker, sincere, giving and caring about people other than yourself. We were taught in the 80s to forget everyone, go for it, your number one, get yours, and it has ruined an entire generation of people. one person living in a huge house with four bedrooms, thee baths, a pool and media room with all of the best( who decides that?) and of course we have been trained to believe if it is not expensive it cant be good. and that person can only sleep in one bed, use one bathroom at a time and wear one outfit at a time. Most people have to work like mainiacs to pay the credit card bills, the fear of losing the job, losing everything keeps us all running like rats on the wheel. It is very sad. Everything is from other countries and nothing is made here, we all have sold our pride and work to other countries and they hate us. they think we are happy, they dont see the migranes, the sleepless nights and ulcers. Why are we so worried about stuff? We collect things, like cars, art, stamps, coins and things thinking we get to keep them, we are all waking up out of our fog, after 911, the war, the enron and threats of terror to us, we are starting to find out the big lies, and secrets, we want our government back, we want acountability and no longer is it ok for them to rob the workers blind. Look what just happened to OJ, he is off, no more program or book. Look at what happened after the hurricanes, people gave and gave and drove from all over the place and slept in the heat and washed dogs, cats, horses for days of back breaking work for free. It is happening but the governemt wants us at home stressed out and distracted so they can continue with the scam. We all know what is right, we must set down the mind numbing things and begin to take back our personal power. If you are working at a job that does bad things to people. Stop and report it. If you cant deal with it, quit and go get a honest job. If you see a commercial for something you think is just so fantastic, remember they are spending billions to intice you. Dont use credit cards, stop buying things that are beyone your budget just beause you always have or everyone else does. Isnt it strange that they start the christmas ads earlier and earlier, the news people report things to motivate our spending, and we fall for it. What are you going to buy your family for christmas? Think about this, do they really need it? can you aford it and are you doing it for the right reasons.? I am skipping the traditional things this year and not going to be sold the bs. Jesus was born in April, they just proved it so it is just a day people spend money to impress or make up for not giveing time and love. it is really pathetic, then there is news years, another year.. then valentines. geeaze, the easter, then memorial day then july 4th, then on and on and one. When are we going to stop all of this crap and become real again.? I hope soon.

Look beyond the crap to the meaning of the message... we all have our problems, no one is perfect! If you think you are perfect, then that is probably your BIGGEST problem! It would cause one to be unable to grow spiritually. Our purpose here is to live, learn & grow. The first step to solving a problem, is to recognise that it exists!
