Stuffed Turkey
8 to 12 pounds 3 to 3 1/2 hours
12 to 14 pounds 3 1/2 to 4 hours
14 to 18 pounds 4 to 4 1/4 hours
18 to 20 pounds 4 1/4 to 4 3/4 hours
20 to 24 pounds 4 3/4 to 5 1/4 hours

The USDA does not recommend cooking turkey in an oven set lower than 325°F.

I find the best way to cook any meet is with a meat thermometer with a probe.

The tip of the meat thermometer should be placed in the thigh muscle just above and beyond the lower part of the thighbone, but not touching the bone, and pointing towards the body. For the stuffing temperature, the tip of the thermometer should be in the center of the body cavity.

The temperature of the meat has to be 180 degrees to be safe to eat.

I find that's the best way to cook it, and not have a dry bird. If you wait till "it falls off the bone", it's going to be as dry as dust.

So, when you use the probe, it will beep when the bird gets to the proper temp.

One last thing, the most important is to let the bird rest at least 20 min to 1/2 hour before carving, and it will be much juicier.

Good Luck

I've been cooking my turkey overnight for years and no one has ever gotten sick. This year it's 21.4 pounds. I put it in the oven at 10:00 PM at 250 degrees and will bump it to 325 around 8 AM. At 12:30 I will remove the foil so it gets good and brown on the top which I base with butter and broth. We will dine around 1:00. My turkey's are always juicy and falling off the bone tender. I guess a lot depends on individual ovens as some cook hotter than others but this works for me. If your straight out cooking your stuffed turkey and it's this large you better plan on 7 1/2 to 8 hours at 350.

they say 15 mins per pound but since you stuffed it;I would do 20 mins to be sure the turkey gets hot inside and cooks the stuffing
