"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose," -Romans 8:28.
This is my life verse because I know that despite what I am going through, God has a reason for it happening in my life. When I think things are getting rough, or I feel that a lot of my hope is gone, God shows the silver lining in that situation. This verse affects my life by not letting me get overly worried about little things. Yes, some days I may feel like the whole world is coming crashing down, but eventually everything looks up b/c of encouragement from friends, from God, and from the hope I have in Him.

(Revelation21:4) because it is where God promised that he will intervene soon and bring about and reverse the problems that this world of mankind has brought on themselves, he will get rid of all suffering and sorrow, and even death he will actually swallow up among other things, he will wipe out every tear from mankind's eyes, I have had my fair share of problems in this world, and have brought quite a few disasters upon my self, I don't mean that all my problems are my own fault butI can look forward to my life being reversed for the better, I live by it, by trying to do God's will of sharing his good news of God's kingdom which is by this kingdomthat God will do all the just mentioned through the leadership of his son whom he has put in charge of his kingdom, and soon this kingdom will bring about Gods desire to have his origional purpose fro mankind and the earth to come to be again! And this is the good news that I am looking forward to very much, and know that the model prayer that Jesus prayed on the sermon of the mount(Matthew6:9)will be fulfilled and God's will, shall beestablished here on earth !This will was the same as when he created mankind to live on earth in peace and happiness without death or any sorrow!

I have many, but one that catches my attention is
Hosea 2:16
"In that day, declares the Lord, you will call me 'my husband.' You will no longer call me 'my master.'"
"That day" has not come yet, so I do not yet know all of what that verse means. But When it does come, I will spend the rest of eternity living by it.
But while I am waiting, this verse gives me hope and encouragement
1 Corinthians 5:17
"Therfore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. (Phil 4:13)
I love this verse because even in hard times when someone has died and I don't think I can live without them I know I can. Or even with a test in school I know that I can do anything anything at all.

When Jesus say; "Love God with all your heart, your mind, your soul and with all your might & love one another as I love you." Because these two commandments that Jesus gave encompasses the 10 commandments and to me, it is my entry ticket to heaven
for if I live my life following these 2 commandments, I will not commit sin then I'm sure that I'll be with the Lord at the end of my life's journey.

My favorite Bible verse is. . . .
"SO, SINCE Christ suffered in the flesh for us, for you, arm yourselves with the same thought and purpose [patiently to suffer rather than fail to please God]. For whoever has suffered in the flesh [having the mind of Christ] is done with [intentional] sin [has stopped pleasing himself and the world, and pleases God]," (1 Peter 4:1) This verse challenges me every single day to be a better follower of Jesus Christ.

Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice...
This means we should always rejoice in the Lord, whether things are going good or not so good. Rejoicing in the Lord during the roughest times brings about peace, comfort, and resolve. To rejoice in the Lord in tough times is to really stand up with faith.
How do I live by this? Just do it. REJOICE

There are so many, for so many different circumstances, it's hard to pick one. But tonight I will pick Jeremiah 33:3, where God says, "come to me, and I will show you great and mighty things that you know not". I love this because I did go to Him and He did show me. He even gave me the capacity to understand things far beyond my natural "understanding"...things that are wonderful and eternal. A blessed Thanksgiving to all.

mine is ; Let him who is perfect cast the first stone.
Jesus said it when they were about to stone a woman to death for committing adultery. It reminds me not to judge others. Also it tells me that even when I mess up big time, Jesus wont condemn me.
It is very relevant to me right now as the school where my children attend has just asked a girl to leave because she is pregnant!
I am so mad about it. I feel this is very wrong. I will voice my opinions but...
Why? Whats yours?

Romans 8:1
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus." I believe everything in the Bible leads directly to this verse.
How do I live by it? It is the most freeing thought imagineable. That I can KNOW that I am saved not because of my goodness (because I guarantee you I'm not good enough to deserve heaven) but because Jesus's goodness is credited to me because I am His and am in Him.
This knowledge frees me from acting out of a fear of punishment but out of a response to what He has done for me.
Scripture says, "Perfect love casts out fear for fear involves punishment." I don't have to fear Him. I can love Him for what He has done for me and serve Him because of what He has done for me.
