a Doctor once told me to keep my window crack, boil water, or get a towel and put on your face. to keep the moisture near, good luck.

You can buy an inexpensive vaporizer and use just water in it to add moisture to the air. Try opening your window when the weather allows for just a few minutes to exchange the air.

Place a bucket of water near the heat register or hang a large wet towel over it.

Set a glass of water somewhere in your room, that will help a lot. Keep water in the glass or container as long as the central heat is on.

If you have a shower, run the shower on HOT for a while.... fill up the tub. Then after it's filled up... take a nice hot bath and relax ;-)
