You do what YOU wanna do. If you wanna spend Thanksgiving with him do it, if not do as you wish. He's NO ONE to be controlling what YOU do. Take a hold of the wheel girl. You can do it.

I think that it best u talk to him and ask him if he even feels comftable spending thanksgiving just with u. It'll be better for u 2 to work it out right now then to keep hurting eachother and not get a happy ending later on ^-^!
Hope Things will work out for you!

If he says he wants to be with you, what makes you think otherwise? Thanksgiving is a time for family AND friends, as is Christmas; surely y'all can split the difference?! When/if you're married, that's what you'll wind up doing then, so better get used to it now.

if he invitews to the family thanksgiving, id take that to mean he likes you a lot, enough to take to home for the holidays...thats big!! if you do go, dont expect to be the center of attention, the family will like you more if they can come to you..remember, youll be judged by them,so dont get all bitchy if hes not next to you the whole time..and offer to help his mom, that always goes over real big

well there are times in a relationship when you want to be a little selfish. but i dont think ignoring your boyfriend will help anythin. if he see's that you are ignoring it, he's gonna think its okay then keep doing it. which will make you even more careless. or he might ask questions and if you tell him its okay he's gonna do it. if he wants to spend time with his family and you want to spend time with yours then you can ask if you and him can combine your family at one of yalls houses. let them get aquainted or something. if you dont want to spend time with your family and just him then you can go with him over to where his family is. maybe get a little comfortable with his family members if you havent already. or you can just talk to him about it. he's your boyfriend he should understand you.

I think you should let him spend Thanksgiving with his family if that is what he wants. However maybe you could compromise and spend it together with his family.

if you've been dating the guy for two years and he hasn't exactly been there for you before but is now starting to show signs of a deeper commitment, then isn't that a good thing?

I'd give him that chance, if it turns out that he's not really there mentally, like you said, then you know not to give him that chance again, but you've got to try once.

Give it a shot. If it doesn't work out find it might be best to cool it for a while. You shouldn't do things out of spite, best to be honest with yourself. Do what you feel is right.
