Everytime I go out with my boyfriend I feel like it's a first date, I get so excited and butterflies in my stomach. We have been going out for 3 years. Our relationship is pretty sexually, (but also emotional) so I don't know if the butterflies are just pure excitement (sex). What do you think this means?

Just in my personal opinion, I think you have no problems and
you are creating one..because ? I have no idea why, sometimes
people can't let themselves be perfectly happy without something being doggone wrong.. Just , nothing aint wrong..you know?
You love that boy.. So love him.. You just describe a sweet union. Nothing wrong..so dont create problems..And nothing is wrong with sex..like you said you dont know if the butterflies are just pure sex..

You have found your SOUL mate. That is how you are suspose to feel everytime you are out with the person you LOVE. Your time together has proven to be genuine. Keep the butterflies - they are beautiful creatures.

I dunno. 3 year butterflies? That does seem a little unusual to me. "Butterflies" are tricky creatures. I suppose it could be LUV!!1!! or it could be DREAD!!1!
My own experience is that LUV butterflies tend to dissipate after a certain level of intimacy has been attained. But I'm just one guy, on a planet of 6 billion people, so take that for whatever its worth.
