When does tax season start? And is there a way to get my W2 forms quickly?

W2's arrive in january. No way to get them quickly.

Tax season is year round......filing your taxes usually are done after w-2s are recieved...for some there are more documents needed such as the slew of 99 forms from various places.

That depends who your company goes through to pay you. If they pay you through a specific company like ADP then you can get them earlier. W2's go out by the end of January and you can start filing on January 12, 2007. I can go by your last paystub on January 2, 2007. your employer has to have you W-2 form POSTMARKED by jan. 31st
they are not obligated to get them to you any time sooner
