When I try to type Greek letters into my answers, I go to the character map, select the symbol font, select the character(s), select copy and try to paste it into my answer here. All I get is the Roman equivalent of my Greek letter. I know this can be done, because I see others doing it all the time............... ????
Ex: Here is my try to type a capital theta-- Q --

Forgot to mention-- I can get Greek letters in a word document, but they paste into Answers as Roman.

You do not require the symbol font for this procedure.
Stay within the Arial font and choose the Θ from the 20th or θ from the 21st row in character map. When you select this time, the Greek letter will happily copy & paste as desired.
