Don't worry about the zit, pugs get them from time to time. Clean out the wrinkles with plain old unscented baby wipes. My pugs have never had infections or irritations.

Yo little gal
this is something that just simply happens from time to time with a pug--you can wait until it heads up and pop that dude-- it will clear up really quick after that
But if you're avid about cleaning within the wrinkles of the pugs face (the deepest ones that a pug has) use a damp clean cloth first to gently wipe out the areas there and then you can apply the absolute thinest dab of vasoline within the wrinkles to smooth and soothe the irritations that can develop there
Hope this helps
I have been a pug owner for thirty years
presently own three of them---they are my closest friends and my babies too---would not trade them for a brand new Rolls Royce !!!

The 'best' thing I have ever found (and my dogs are grateful too)
is none other than simple MINERAL OIL, regardless of what your
vet might tell you, My dogs had skin problems from bacteria that
formed in the wrinkles because of moisture (sweat).
I tried several things, including two prescriptions, but nothing
worked that well , then my mother told me to try Mineral Oil.
She said 'If it can keep a our skin protected then why not the dogs. So I tried it, and thats been two years ago now, and guess what, IT WORKS.. Just soak some cotton balls in the oil and gently wipe inside every wrinkle , repeat the process one more time
and the dogs are good to go for at least two weeks.
I re-treat them every two weeks. Good Luck.

best is to wash food bowl before EVERY meal and feed in steel or heavy glass not plastic.. wipe off the whole head and mouth after every meal and every water ... keep clean and DRY . at all times and wipe down sore spots with peroxide and you will have a shiny bump free pup.
