I was thinking of getting my tongue pierced, and Im not the type of person who cares what others think, but my friend said it would give the wrong impression. So what do you think when you see a girl with her tongue pierced?

Yes, and it goes both ways (meaning guys too). But that can mean different things depending on the person. If the person is normally very outgoing, then it's honestly not much of a change on how I perceive them. However, when I see some half-shy not so outgoing person get their tongue pierced, it's like a shout of insecurity to me.

I don't think of girls with pierced tongues as slutty. It was more of a fashion trend and I think that's why a lot of people got their tongues pierced. A tongue piercing has nothing to do with someone's "sluttiness". You could be a slut without a tongue piercing. People were sluts before tongue piercing became popular, right? If you want to get your tongue pierced and you would feel comfortable with it, then do it. Just make sure you take care of it.

It's not about the tongue-piercing, it's about the way you dress and act. Personally i think tongue-piercings look good so long as you can pull it off and still speak.

I think she's an idiot.
The tongue is unlike the rest of the body. The blood vessels in it do not have the little valves that stop bleeding rapidly. If the piercing hits a larger vein, you can die pretty quick.
In addition, it's in a part of the body that most people almost totally ignore hygenically. Odds of a major infection are pretty huge.
All that just to get something that chips your teeth and makes you talk funny.

No, it's not slutty, but it is unsanitary. I wouldn't kiss a girl with a tongue piercing. The mouth is the dirtiest place in the human body and that doesn't help it any.

I don't immediately assume she's slutty - if you dress suggestively then I wouldn't add to the impression you give. I personally wouldn't get one. A nose stud is so much sexier, and it gives a playful and HOT image. At least that's what my guy friends have said. But it's all up to you in the end. Hope it works out.

many guys will ask you "do you spit or swallow?" ....to be honest, the first impression the average guy has when he meets a girl with a tongue piercing is that she likes to give blow jobs...and if you dont believe me go and do survey of 20 guys and tell them be honest, and you will see this is true...slutty would be an understatement....a come gurgler would be a more accurate description....good luck

ive had my tongue pierced for 7 years now and i love it....who the hell cares what anyone else says.....if it feels right for you then by all means do it...if youre asking yourself questions then maybe you shouldnt....my boyfriend LOVES mine and doesnt think that im slutty at all.

I don't think so. I want to get my tongue pierced too but i ain't no sIut. I just think it shows someone bold, more so than slutty.
