Today, I chemically straightened my hair. Not at the salon, but with one of those home kits. It worked, but now my hair feels like it has glue or crisco in it. It doesn't look like it feels, but it feels gross. Is there anything that I can do that will get rid of the feeling? Anything that I can put in it? Please help!

Honey, relax. I have the answer that you need. The stuff that you have used on your hair is very harsh and so you now have stiff hair. I highly advice that you get a deep conditioner and apply it. Leave it on for about 30 minutes or even overnight, if you are reading this at this late hour. Rinse it with cool water. Repeat every four days and be patient. Your hair will recover soon enough. Next time, go to a salon and have a professional do it with professional and safer products.
Good luck.
