for practical reasons, orange extract is MUCH more potent than orange juice. One could not drink orange extract

orange extract is made of the oils and juices combined if you are looking for a flavoring you are better to use the extract due to the fact that you would have to use a great deal more juice to get the flavoring.You can also use grated orange rind as a flavoring
