It really dosen't matter how many points it's got.I've seen spikes at 120 pounds and 4 four pointers at 100 pounds.

It all depends on where the deer has been living. I hunt the PA mountains and routinely see 4 to 6 pointers weighing only 150 lbs.
In Ohio. The land is flat and the deer in our area eat the farmers corn and soy bean crops all year. a 4 to 6 pointer here may weigh 175 lbs.

lol....So if he SHOULD have had four points, would that count as a four pointer? Eat it and be happy.
Area of the country, environment, and type of deer have a big influence on how much it a deer of the same age could weigh.

points on a deer are not based on weight, bucks get their antlers from genetics, I have a nice eight point in my pasture, he will maybe only go about 125lbs

I don't think how many points they have.
Have anything to do with how much they weigh.
I think it.s their age that determines how many points.
