What is the proper way to treat Muslim women?

I manage an apartment complex with a significant Muslim population and do not want to offend them accidently by saying or doing the wrong thing.

It is uncomfortable for you and the woman both when you offer your hand and they have to refuse. Treat the families like you would treat all of the other non Muslim families in your complex.

I live in a muslim country and i have many muslim friends, both male & female. So all i can say is that just b'cos some muslims are bad, it does not mean that every muslim is bad. NOT every animal in the jungle is dangerous. Many muslims i know hate the al qaeda and all their acts. If you guys think that Al qaeda is real muslims, then ur wrong. From what i know muslims, al qaeda are just some psychos. Ofcourse, there are a few who make a big fuss of their religion. While there are also many muslims who hate muslims who make a big fuss of their religion.
So, all i can say is treat them like any other normal females. And once you start mingling with them, you can know if they are the messy type. If so, keep a slight distance. I am sure that u will find that some muslim females who are open minded and nice.

Some may express disgust openly others dont, so please take care not to offend, just be your self.

I am a Muslim woman and people treat me the same way they do any other woman. They say hello and sometimes strike up a conversation. But not all woman are like me, I'm very friendly and I talk to everyone so that helps lol. To be honest, some women in purdah like to be left alone. If you say "hello" that should be good enough and there is nothing offensive about it.
