Happy thanksgiving to you too!

Hey, Jamn, I remember you from sometime back! and as usual, your questions are both personal, and profound!

Of course, I and my family, my twin sons, their wives, my daughter and her boyfriend, and her two rugrats, my
grand-rugrats, will be giving thanks to God, to our Creator, to our Benefactor above All, for all His blessings, but too, for His Son...

Really, To Whom else? The Three Stooges,....... Daffy Duck? ((well, maybe Daffy)) Daffy makes me laff a whole lot, still......
no, really, we all deeply down know from whom all blessings flow.

But ya know what? I am wishing that everyone on Earth could treat each other,..EACH DAY OF THE YEAR.... as we all greet, treat each other, about 2 days before Christmas Day. Now, there is a real mystery, what gives, in people only being jolly, loving, extra-friendly, around the time of Christmas, but not, the other 362 or so days of the year??

Happy Thanksgiving to you, yours, friend Jamn....; and a sincere "Merry, merry, joyous Christmas to you, too"
Aaron

Who Do You Thank on Thanksgiving?

Being thankful has two parts: Who or what we are thankful for and whom we are thankful to. If we are thankful, then there has to be someone to be thanked for it. Some atheists may say, “I will thank nature for it”, but this is not what history teaches us. Our history shows over and over again that the first settlers to this great land were thankful for their many blessings: their families, the Indians, the land, the food, ECT. And who were they thankful to? God! They praised and thanked God, always!
Our children’s history books may change over time, by slowly removing God from this, but it is wrong and it is incorrect. Removing God, is like erasing a part of our history, an amazing historical event, based on the love of this country and God!
Thanksgiving is about thanking God for our many blessings. This is our history and should remain so for all eternity. Thank God!

I'll be thankful that I have a turkey!!! But I am not a Christian, so I will not be thanking the same thing you thank.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Hope you have a great one!

I thought thanksgiving was giving thanks for all free land.

Honestly, I think Thanksgiving is a crock... real Christians give thanks everyday...not just on some day that a former president said we should.

That's like saying Christmas is about remembering Christ.
