This is her account thingie or whatever. Should I take her her laptop? She already has an overnight bag. I mean after the baby is born and everything so that she won't be bored? Or does she need to rest because she just put all that energy into having a child.

Lol...sweetie, I don't think her mind will be on her laptop. Besides it's not allowed in the hospital and she will be back home in a couple of days. Just log her off and make sure it's charged for when she gets back. She will want to send out some pics of the baby.

P.S. It's sweet that you want to do something nice for her. Being a young Mom is hard but it should come naturally and she will want to bond with the baby. You will too. Enjoy this time.

I would think that she can survive without her computer. As long as there aren't any complications she should be out within a day at the most two days. They will want her to rest as much as possible and they will want her to walk and shower and that type of thing. She needs to rest as much as she can because right now she has someone that is changing the diapers and helping with the baby. When she gets home she will have to do this and it won't be as easy to rest!! TRUST ME!!! Hope this helps. If she requests the computer then I would say take it though, unless the hospital prohibits it.

Put the laptop away. Let her enjoy every moment with the baby. The computer is the last thing she needs right now. Let her bond with her child. Think how rude she would look as well to the staff and other new mom's there if she was typing on her computer. She needs her rest, you can have fun on her computer. Just don't mess it up on her or you will get an earful from her.

The last thing i would want at the hospital after having a baby would be a laptop. You need major rest after having a baby. Now that her baby will be born she can say goodbye to sleeping when ever she wants.
That is how it is when you have a baby and all she needs at the hospital is just food, drinks, clothes and most of all her baby.

Good luck and congrats to your sister

take her the lap top..you dont know how long she will be in the hospital for...she wont be that busy with baby, all they do is sleep anyways....and there arent always a ton of visitors. Both pregnancies i begged to go home...i went home both time just about 12-14 hours after giving birth cause i was sooooo bored.... take her the computer, if she doesnt use it oh well...but she may want to, too!!!

After her baby is born, she is going to need and want to rest. Don't bring the laptop.
