I'm a practicing Catholic. Born into it. And believe anyone could be saved by good morals and good works.
But do you think that any ONE true religion of people (alone) will be saved?
Just curious.

There will be Catholics that will NOT be saved and there will be other Religions that will NOT be saved. The Catholic Religion offers the entirety of Salvation though. Other Religions have part of the truth. It all boils down to judgement by Jesus. What did you know and when did you know it and did you ever refuse knowing it and what did you do with it once you knew it?

Honestly, I'm not the judge, only God is. And that's the when all will be decided, when we meet Him in the end of time. But the bible does say you aren't saved by works alone. It does say you must be saved by water and of the spirit though. That's bible, not my words. The bible also speaks of many other things but I won't get into that because myself will be judged by others on this page just because it's a controversial society. I don't think it's about the "religion" but about what you do in order to be saved. If you follow the truth and how the bible speaks of salvation, you will be saved. The bible does mention acceptance of Christ, being baptized and etc. in order to make it to the Kingdom of God. Personally I don't give up the internet, TV and so on like that Amish guy said. I do however, watch WHAT I view because there are so many unclean things out there, and I think you have to be careful what you allow your eyes to see and your ears to hear if you want to truly be a Christian. Your setting yourself apart from "the worldy ways" and serving God, that's what makes you different.

My friend, I'm glad you asked this question because I believe your theology is wrong. I'm glad I am able to witness correctly to you about Salvation.

First of all, I hope you are reading your Bible daily. In this way, you will truly know the word of God. Secondly, realize that the Bible says that we need to repent of our sins that we have committed against God. Read the 10 Commandments and realize that you and I and everyone else breaks all these commandments all the time in either word, thought, and deed. If you say you haven't then I would say you are self-righteous. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23.
Because of this, we are all sinners and nobody is good.

Salvation is by faith and by faith alone. Not by works. Good works follow repentance and faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ. Critical point: you and I cannot work our way to Heaven. Nobody can. That is why Jesus died. He died for the sins of the world. And we are all sinners. If we repent of our sins and trust Jesus to save us on Judgment Day, then we will be saved. Christianity is preceded by and followed by repentance. Remember that repentance means apologizing to God and turning away from those sins. It's not that you will never sin again, but that you will not desire to sin because sin will seem repulsive to you. Jesus will become precious because He is your only means of salvation. There is nothing we can do to work our way to a perfect God.

The salvation part of your faith has been over
for quite some time, now.
Six million Jews died by the hand of Adolph Hitler
between 1934 and 1944. You and yours, were not
part of that holocaust because your ancestors
were the believers. They were the followers who
left the Jewish faith and became Christians.

As for the second coming of Christ, much of that
is happening as we speak. The true meaning of
his teachings are cropping up everywhere.
He is indeed returning in Truth and Spirit.

Recall that in Acts 16:31 the jailer asked Paul and Silas how to be saved. They responded, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." The jailer believed and immediately became saved
Close to 200 times in the New Testament salvation is said to be by faith alone - with no works in sight. Consider the following.

John 3:15 tells us that "everyone who believes in him (Jesus) may have eternal life."

John 5:24 says, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."

In John 11:25 Jesus says, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.
John 12:46 says, "I have come into the world as a light so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness."

John 20:31 says, "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

Eph 2:8-10 God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward FOR THE GOOD THINGS WE HAVE DONE, SO NON OF US CAN BOAST ABOUT IT. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

If salvation were not by faith alone, then Jesus' message in the Gospel of John - manifest in the above quotations - would be deceptive, stating that there is one condition for salvation when there are allegedly two - faith AND works.
I must emphasize that we are saved BY faith but FOR works. Works are not the condition of our salvation, but a consequence of it. We are saved not by works, but by the kind of faith that produces works.

I hope that these verses answer you question. It appears to me that only those who truly accept the free gift of salvation by faith in Christ will be saved. (Not a particular church or denomination.)

So we can be good and moral and deny Jesus and be saved?

"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. -Matthew 10:32

Yes the only true religion is in the God of Abraham and his son- Jesus.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. -John 14:6

Do Catholics still have Bibles?

Anyone who accepts Christ's gift of salvation will be in heaven. But to do so, requires you to ask for God to forgive you of your sins and to come into your heart. Read John 3:16

The concept is nonsense. There exists nothing from which, or for which, one needs to be "saved".
