Our free will determines the outcome of around 98% of everything Christians pray about. Most of your prayers are involving humans. Human's choices(free will) determines what will happen next, not your imaginary friend

Hey my child, God Answers Prayers but only to those that are true to him. If you submit to the Power Companies and Join the Service to Kill People you will go to Hell. God will only Save the Christians that don't give into Society, The Evil Rock Music, the Computer, Electricity. Use only natural things of God, No Dishwashers, no Irons. etc. Only Amish will meet God. I pray for you

I can only answer your question from my perspective. Because religion is not about material gain, I only pray for my soul's salvation (and that of the whole of humanity). God gave me (and to everyone else) free will, so I conduct my affairs with the best outcome in mind. It is still very much you reap what you saw.
You must not confuse creative wishcraft which is what humans really practice instead of prayer.

Without praying, 98% result is only horrible darkness.
Prayer is light for wise action and not wish for idleness.
If idleness in prayer can guarantee good results, then the whole civilization will collapse, because all men love idleness more than labor.

I think I rememeber being taught that G-d answers prayers IF it is in His will to do so. ANd if free will is 98% of the outcomes we still have 2% for miracles to happen.

Additional Details:
In response to your comment:
No we DO HAVE a 2% chance of good things happening
Natural disasters just happen all the time and are NOT part of out "free will" they have NOTHING to do with the % you speak of. Nice try to cop out.

Well you make a false assumption that prayer is merely to change outcomes. In fact, when Jesus gives us the model prayer in Matthew 6, none if it involves changing anything. We see reverence for God, recognizing and asking HIS will be done, helping to provide for them, helping them to forgive, helping us to follow him instead of Satan.

God does choose to change outcomes sometimes though and that is terrific when he does. He completely healed my hand once from an affliction and Ill never forget that!

Most of my prayers are prayers of thanks, and prayers to know the will of God, not to ask Him to change anything.

And yes we have free will. I can choose to do anything I want.
So I choose to believe in Him. My closest friend, my Father and my Savior.

I also choose to pray for you. I pray that someday you will know Him and accept Him and His love for you.

I don't really understand the question you might want to rephase it but I'll try.... I think that there is that other 2% that you aren't counting and because of free will can change that...I hope that answers it but it probley doesn't.

I have noticed in all your questions you are simply a racist using religion to disguise that fact.... did you chose to be Atheist because it's easier for you to spread your message of hate that way? God Bless you, and I hope you find some type of happiness in your life.

Free will can be God's will. Although human choices are not always equal to God's will, they can be when we seek God.
