I have 2 severed special needs children of mental retardation and mental illness with autism and another autistic child and a regular smart child as well. Different kinds of diets, no gluten, high fiber, and low cal and etc are factors of cooking, and life in general can be challenging. The ages are from 15 to 7 years, and yes they are all my, not foster/adopted. I'm asked alot about that. My kids believes in Santa Claus, so questions about toys to adult stuff will be asked. My kids are supervised when on the computer, and just wanted to asked about the allison doll for the 7yr old, but the 12 yr boy mind is the same level as of4 yr. and the 15 yr girl mind of 6 or7 yrs age, and the 10 yr the mind of 8 yrs. So I am not angry, but blessed, and am I the only one who have more than one special needs child? Just looking for support and answers to make a better person out of me to make a difference for my kids, and my husband.

A young mother I work with has a 5 year old son with not too severe Spina Bifida and an autistic 7 year old daughter, both biological, as well as 2 almost teenage sons who have no special needs. She purchases toys that are "mind age" appropriate for her kids, and cooks Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners traditionally for one day, then gets them back on their regular meals the next day. She said that it's too much to diet out everyone on these days, and not fair to everyone to deprive them of the two pig out days, so she just lets it go for these days. Her youngests still believe in Santa, so she just goes with what she knows they will enjoy, and always has one or two for the younger ones that are from Santa and wrapped in completely different paper. She says that you shouldn't stress so much about it when it's only two days. You've got a lot on your plate everyday, take it a little easier these two days. Happy Thanksgiving, MOM.

im specific your loved ones might understand why you wouldnt prefer to holiday that distance with this way of recent child and a baby. they shouldnt make you experience undesirable approximately it, your doing no longer something incorrect. a toddler that youthful continues to be coming up her immune equipment, and might desire to actual p.c.. something up in a crowded public area like a plane. plus, when you consider that babies cry plenty besides, that's totally confusing to tell in the event that they have an ear an infection, and in the event that they do, as you stated the strain on the ears could make that confusing. 5 years in the past, while i became into 12, i became into in a three hour flight and the female sitting next to me had a small toddler, approximately 2 or 3 months previous. the toddler became into screaming for the 1st hour, and then he went to sleep. she didnt recognize it, yet he had a double ear an infection and his ear drums burst in the time of the flight with the aid of tension. as quickly as we landed, she couldnt wake him up, blood stated popping out of his nostril, and it became out he had died in the time of the flight. its in actuality traumatized me from planes and that i cant think of how the mum might desire to experience, she had executed no longer something incorrect. im no longer asserting this to scare you, yet to press the fee of constantly getting your small childs ears checked till now getting on a plane till they're sufficiently previous to tell you if somethings incorrect. plus a 6 week previous is only taking off to get on a snooze time table, and the time variations might thoroughly mess that up. ask your husband to tape the marriage, deliver a congratulatory card to the bride and groom, and dont experience in charge approximately it. you may constantly carry them for a pass to while the toddler is older.
