If a girl tells her friends about our date, is that a good sign? Because she later cancelled on me for what I think was a stupid reason. She told me her friend had pissed her off, and she was too mad to go. And she was pretty cold and distant leading up to that too. So, would you tell your friends about a date even if you weren't really interested? Keep in mind we didn't go on the date, she told her friends that we were going to go on a date, but then she cancelled it......

If she told her friends then maybe she was excited and wanted to let them in on the date. She could be the type who listens and depends too much on her friends opinion of what she does and who she dates. This could be a bad sign. If she doesn't call back and apologize and talk to you about the cancellation then maybe she is not a good person to consider dating right now. Give it time though, put yourself in her shoes for a little while. If you have the courage to, call her back and let her know how you feel and proceed from there. Try to show concern for her and let her know you are still open to seeing her. I hope things go well, you will not know if you do not speak to her. You sound like you need closure. No matter what happens though try to enjoy your holiday!!!

As for a girl telling her friends about you (or more importantly, asking their advice) she must be pretty insecure or unsure of herself; this is a battle you can't fight for her, so just consider that she isn't really ready to date anyone if she has to get approval from her clique before she goes out with you, okay?
Bottomline: Her friends dogged her out about you; either she goes with you or she picks her friends over you,
End result: you lose...
Solution: I'd cross her off the list and start over. Just don't let her back in unless she comes with a (much) better excuse than the lame crap she gave you...
