It's okay with me if Muslims complain about whatever they want to as long as they don't blow up over it. Anyway what's really wrong with eating pork, I like pork, bacon and eggs, ham and sausage, hocks and beans, ham sandwiches, pork chops, pigs in a blanket, yummy!

First, Islam teaches its followers not to be angry or becoming rage if someone do something unintentionally such as a hotel servant/waiter serving pork to a Muslim without knowing that Muslims are prohibitted from eating pork. (Please note that Muslims are also prohibitted from touching pork or live pigs). The reason for not getting angry is because the non-muslim doesn't know the person cannot eat pork.
However if someone intentionally serves pork to a Muslim, then the Muslim (as a human being with feeling) has the right to be angry. However the Muslim should control his/her temper so that he/she will not do something that is against the law.
Getting angry at someone who is insensitive to the religion and customs of fellow citizen in one own country is not something that is extraordinary.
Example:
Commited followers of Hindu do not eat cow's meat. Cow is considered sacred. Hence Hindu religion prohibits Hindu followers from eating cow's meat. If someone in India serves cow's meat to a committed/devouted Hindu follower, don't you think the Hindu follower will get angry at the person who serves the cow's meat? I believe most people will say "yes", he will get angry.
The imporant thing is to control the anger so that we do not attack or kill people over matters that can be resolved through law. Islam do not teach its follower to attack people just because the person has unintentionally serve pork.
In the Manila Times news, maybe one question that need to be answered is that whether the waiter or the cafetaria or the management know that Muslims are prohibitted from eating pork?

Not every one RAGES! Most folks say ,"No Thank You." Jews face the same issues, and Even Christians face the issue of properly bleed meat. In the Books of the Apostles it said that it is only really important to stay away from, disgusting debase sex and ingesting blood! But Rage??? No thank you works!
Unless it was done as a deliberate insult....WAS IT?

Some people like to be offended. Simple mistake. Chinese restaurants use a great amount of pig meat and fat in the foods, so they probably made a simple mistake, and the reasonable response would have been, "I can't eat pork could you get me something else". or if it happened a second time, that person should take his business else where.

Yes and No. Refraining for pork is something that religiously is taken very seriously. I don't eat pork and try to keep Kosher. Although not Muslim, I understand that refraining from eating certain foods is spiritual and very fulfilling. In my case, if someone who doesn't know about my kosher lifestyle and serves me pork, I would not get upset (because they didn't know). IF they DO know, however, and decided that they were going to be mean and severed me pork to make me mad, sin or to mock my believes then I would get very upset.

Christians should also be offended of eating pork because it is forbidden according to the bible:
Leviticus 11:7-8
7 and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. 8 Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. They are unclean to you.

It looks like one Muslim raged. Not all or many, as your question suggests. But I do agree that his reaction was irrational.

Hell yes! Pork is nasty and highly offensive to us. Jews raise a big stink about stuff not being served kosher so why can't Muslims complain about being served pork???

We need to get 'real' here.
It's NOT ok to eat BBQ pork and wash it down with a few cold brewskis, but its OK to fly planes loaded with innocent people into buildings?
time for a reality check!
