Jesus Christ had already ascended into heaven and thus didn't disciple Saul/Paul. This took a personal encounter after Christ's ascension, on the road to Damascus. After he was converted Paul spent 3 days blind and fasting until the Lord sent Ananias to lay hands on him. It's a well known fact that Saul/Paul was a pharisee of pharisees who'd persecuted the church with a vengeance, now suddenly he was an apostle of Christ; not only that, he was an apostle to the Gentiles, this Jew of Jews. More evidence of the miraculous power of Jesus Christ-God the Son

Jesus never taught Paul.
Nor did Jesus blind Paul.

After Jesus was crucified, a Roman
soldier named Saul was sun blinded
on the road to Damascus.
This soldier made a pact with God,
to become a Christian, in return for
his lost eyesight.

The soldier's sight came back.
He changed his name from Saul to
Paul and took Judas's place as the
twelfth disciple. Jesus' teachings
were related to him by the other
disciples, and Paul's interpretations
of these teachings would become the
foundation for Christianity.

Ironically, two of the worlds largest
faiths were founded by soldiers.
Paul became the real corner stone
for the Catholic church. And Moses,
who in truth was an Egyptian soldier,
rallied Jews around the Ten
Commandments.

Paul (Saul)started off as a murderer of Christians being a very staunch Jew, but a roman citizen.the resurrected Jesus blinded him in the year 34? Ce at acts 9:19 it says he was with the disciples.acts 9:20-25 says immediately he began to preach about Jesus. Galatians 1:18 could mean parts of three years later he then met up with James Jesus 1/2 brother. after that he stayed with peter(Cepheus)

Paul/Saul never met Jesus in person. odd isn't it? that someone who never actually walked with Jesus had/has more influence on the character of Christianity than did the one Jesus apparently called "the rock upon which I build my church". had it been left up to Peter all Christians would be adhering to Hebrew law.

Before he was born. Same as me and you. He had to do everything he did and learn everything he learned in order to write 80% of the new testament. Also to be a witness to the Jews and the Gentiles. Remember on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him and said "why do you kick against the pricks?" GOD was guiding him and he was resisting.

May GOD richly bless you.
