I've been wearing contacts for 2 months now and I've been wondering: why do I have to change my contacts every 2 weeks and take them out at night while others can wear the same pair for a month and sleep with them in? Also: why is it important to change the lens cases that you put the contacts in?

Can you buy JUST the lens cases, also? or do they only come with the solution?

You can buy single lens cases and you should change them frequently just because of the bacteria build-up and you are putting the lenses in your eyes after they soak in these containers. Your eyes need oxygen and need to breathe so take them out every nite and clean them, even if they can be left in for 2 weeks at a time, it is just a good habit to keep em clean.

I think it's to reduce the risk of infection and allow your eyes to be exposed to the air and let your body do it's thing.
