Yes absolutely, and that includes how your breath smells too. That can be a real turn-off.

smell does play inot affect sometimes depending how well that person takes care of personal hygiene. I also think it's important to make a first impression most of the time that what people remember the most and body spray and Axe and etc. are also a good touch to smelling good it shows that you care about the way you are presented in front of others. I guess it gives you a bit of an edge.

Yes, it can also hurt you. Let's say this chick was in a serious relationship with another guy, then he cheats on her, with her best friend since second grade. So there's a painful break-up. Now she meets you, and everything between you two fits together perfectly. But you wear the same cologne as her Ex. Everytime she smells you she will think about him and the wrongs he did to her.

You want your smell to convey a sense of happiness and to remind her of good times. By associating yourself with good feelings she will subconsciously like you more.

Yes, but it is not like they have to smell like Nautica or some other brand. It is like the person's scent along with a certain feeling that goes with the smell when you see him/her. It definitely leaves an impression, but I am not sure if it will affect the compatibility of two individuals.

If you smell good, your buddys prolly gonna wanna hang around you more often. If they have allergies, perfume is a no-no. Some lotions make your skin silky, and smell good like flowers. Axe, axe is alright, but some people I know use it, overuse it, and people choke on it and I hate it. I guess smell does matter. I know someone who smells like crayons so I dont hang around him too much :O and someone who smells like axe and I cough. and definatly, deoderant is a goood thing. I dont like it when Im hangin around with my friends and they smellllll. and then theyre no fun to hug :P But smell isnt the most important thing. :o

To a certain extent yes, because it is etched on that mental picture that the person has of you and everytime he/she thinks of you the smell will be an influencing factor.....That is the reason it has been around for thousands of years!

YES!!! When you walk past a girl, they get a slight smell because of the momentum of your walking, and if you smell REALLY amazing, they're going to look at you closer, or even talk to you!

hmm..not really. I meet someone I like, then am drawn to the cologne they wear...not the other way around. I then LOVE the smell of the cologne...because of the simple fact that it reminds me of that person.
