So I need to make some money for my school trips that are quite expensive.

I'm thinking about dogwalking since I like dogs. But how should I do this all? Do you only walk people's dogs who are in your TOWN? and do you GO to the house and pick up there dog. or do they go to yours?? I know this substitute who lives close to my house.. she has a dog.. when I walk home from school I always see her walkingit.. shes always smiling when shes walking the dog. Should I ask her? And what if she says no...?

Does anyone have experience, ever been one as a buisness?

Start at the local animal shelter. They will give you the experiance you need, or go to the local doggy day care and just watch and learn. There is more to walking a dog than just walking the dog/s. You need to be capable of avoiding conflicts with other dogs, you need to show the dogs that you are walking that YOU are the boss, you need to know how to do basic obedience in case of conflicts. Get some experiance first then offer you paid services after you have a couple of months of supervised experiance under your belt. Even take a doggy first aid course...wouldn't hepl to pu that on your resume!

I have a dog walker, he lives accross the street from me, he is a 12 year old kid. He walks several dogs in the area, he comes to my house to pick up my each afternoon.

I think it would be a great idea for you to ask the substitute, she will offer her oppinion and advice, and she may even need your services on occation.

Good luck!

Talk to the woman you always see and if she says she doesn't need a dog walker you could tell her that you could walk it while she's away and you could ask her to talk to other neighbors that have dogs.
