Did he eat the mouse? If not, I wouldn't worry too much. If he did eat the mouse, it might give him an upset stomach for a day or so, but I doubt it would cause anything serious.
If you're still worried, then call your vet or an emergency clinic.
If it's rabies you're worried about, look at it this way:
If an animal with rabies attacked that mouse, it would probably have killed and eaten it. Small animals, like mice, don't usually carry rabies.

My dogs kill mice all the time. I doubt they will get sick and I wouldn't worry. Just throw the mouse out.

Some dogs are bread for that, so congratulate your dog. He will not get sick unless the mouse had recently been poisoned, so if you don't have any mouse killer around your house your dog will be just fine.

HE won't get sick unless the mouse was sick. Probably the most serious thing that comes into play here is rabies
as long as he has recieved his vacinations up to dat e he sohuld be fine. Rabies is every other year.

My dogs kill mice and rats and squirrels and gofers all the time they eat there heads off. We live in the mountains and who knows what else they have ate.

Don't worry!He'll be fine!Cats do that all the time.Never heard of a cat that died cause it killed a mouse.And you should be happy.No money for cats or mouse traps anymore.

Congratulate the dog, he has done a good thing and it was only a natural reaction. Nothing will happen to it.

Did he eat it? Don't worry too much. My sister's beagle is a mouser (go figure) and beagle is still alive. If he ate it, just keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't start feeling crummy. Also, if he ate it, don't be surprised if he pukes.

mice are the #1 carrier of diseases in the world! take it to the vet and make sure everything is ok!
