I really can't figure out what your question is, but I'm Wiccan and two of my closest friends are Catholic (I just attended one of their weddings - a full blown mass - and went to Easter mass with the other last year). Two more very close friends were raised Catholic and are struggling with what they believe, and my honey is a former Catholic. Two of my exes were also raised Catholic. I respect all of them, except the exes but that's not because they're Catholic.
You've mentioned Pagans mocking Christianity in more than one of your posts, but I haven't seen much evidence of it. If you could include posts to specific Pagans - not posers, actual Pagans - mocking Christianity and Catholicism (not reacting to hate-filled answers they received to a question), I will hopefully feel much less offended than I do now.

Do Protestants mock Christianity? If you re-read some of the history you'll find that they created their brand of worship precisely because they felt it was the true Christianity. That is hardly mockery. Aethists and Pagans don't mock Christianity any more than Christians mock aethism and paganism. They may have theological disputes, but seldom mockery.

I think it would be obvious why Christians would get offended when they are mocked. Doesn't everyone get offended when they are mocked, or at least it gets annoying, whether or not they have any religious base whatsoever! I'm a Christian, and I think that when this world is suppose to be about "freedom of speech" and the entire nation is allowed to say their political views on things, why is it we can't have freedom of speech on how we feel about wanting to serve God? It's okay to have sex education in school but not prayer? I think it's all stupid. Everyone is NOT entitled to freedom of what they want to believe, because if they were, everyone would be doing what they believed in. What if a parent doesn't want their child learning about sex from a stranger, but wants their child to pray before lunch? Is that considered wrong? Yes. You don't see them banning sex education though, so I think all in all, everyone is being "mocked" in one or another. It's all so controversial, yet were suppose to keep quiet. No one is pushing any ones beliefs on anyone, yet this society is offended when we're offended about holding some moral value to the world when it's so much in chaos.

Protestant:
a name/term describing them as people who are "pro-test-ants" -
pro - for
test - testify
- people who TESTIFY FOR the Faith.
not people who protest AGAINST ...
Yes, for a long time Protestants have been TESTIFYING FOR the Faith once (for all time) delivered to the "saints".
They have much in common with the Roman Catholics and other Catholics and Orthodox -- such things as ONE Creator God Who has revealed Himself as eternally existing in three "Persons". That Jesus Christ Came, becoming Incarnate, was Crucified, dead, and buried; Rose from the dead, bodily ascended into Heaven, and shall come again. Most have in common the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the St. Athanasian Creed.

One answerer says: "christianity comes from paganism, many "traditions" come from paganism. they dont like to accept that."
That is just NOT SO!!
Chriistianity does NOT come from paganism. Christianity replaces paganism. Paganism, an old religion, does not like being replaced by Christianity.

because christians think that they are right as to athiests. People just need to back off of everyone else and leave everyone alone. I am a christian but i dont force my beliefs on any one or tell anyone else they are wrong for thinking differently than me. I may think they are wrong but I wont offend them by mocking their religion. people who do that arent really acting like real christians anyway because we are taught not to judge and that God is the only one who has the ability to judge.

Actually, I'm Catholic, and I'm also offended when pagans and atheists mock Christianity.
The way to deal with it is to show them how intolerant they are being, rather than attacking them back.

No one's faith should be mocked or ridiculed.
If it is easier to criticise than to be correct, in the interests of human brotherhood, all religious intollerance should stop once and for all. There are other dangers looming above us , why not turn our considerable intellects to solve those problems.

Very ignorant question. Our seperated brothers and sisters in Christ are trying to serve our Lord to the best of their knowledge and abilities, as all Christians are who are convinced of their faith. I'm Catholic, in full union with Church beliefs, but my Protestant friends have taught me several things in regards to trusting God, charity, and evangelization. Get off your high horse.

We are not surprised because that is what evil people do, they mock!
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. -Psalm 1:1

Protestants haven't been mocking Christianity, otherwise they wouldn't be part of it. They just chose thier own way of worshiping God.
