If a girl tells her friends about our date, is that a good sign? Because she later cancelled on me for what I think was a stupid reason. She told me her friend had pissed her off, and she was too mad to go. And she was pretty cold and distant leading up to that too. So, would you tell your friends about a date even if you weren't really interested?

Truthfully - a girl tells her girlfriends everything. I think the question should be whether or not she really wanted to go on the date. If I were to go on a date I couldn't wait for, getting into an agrument with a friend wouldn't ruin my night. If she isn't making an excuse - she should have considered going. A date would always make a girl feel better (if she's interested). It sounds like she was making up an excuse to me, though.

If she tells her friends it's probably a good sign because it shows that she wants to brag to them about how well the date is going and how her realashonship is going good. I personally don't think thats a stupid reason to cancel a date because she felt that since she was in a bad mood she would of ruined the date for both of you, being thoughtful.

It sounds like she was being honest, if not exactly gentle with your feelings, or responsible with her commitments.

It is generally neither good/not good to have her talking to her friends about you. At least she is willing to acknowledge being out with you - that is a small thumbs up. Regardless, if you light up her world or leave her disgusted, she will always tell her fiends, no matter what. That is good - girls, just like guys, need support.

More importantly though, if you feel like she is not caring about your feelings or effort to be in a relationship, or she's just being unclear and non committal, then do what is good for you.

Don't tolerate her giving you the cold shoulder. Ask her to tell you more about how she was feeling about her friend, sympathize, and then tell her how disappointed you felt when she canceled the date. If she doesn't listen to your feelings, then ditch her and find someone more mature.

You deserve someone who is honest AND cares about your feelings.

truthfully, telling your friends about the date means nothing. i tell my best friend about every single second of every date, no matter if it was awesome or if it sucked. so that i get her opinion about things.
i wouldn't read into her silly cancellation reason. she totally could have been in a bad mood because of the friend! give her another chance for a date, definitely. good luck!

did you ever stop to think!? maybe her friend likes you too?! its in girl code you can't date someone your friend likes that could possibly be your issue but who knows. and yes girls would tell another girl about a date even if they weren't interested just to make fun of it or to confide on whether they should go just for fun or not... good luck...

well of course, s tell there friends about everything. Chances are one of her friends made her think that it was'nt a good date or something. So it may have been that it did'nt mean anything that she told her friend about your date....so chances are she was just insecure about the whole thing.

i usually talk to my friends about it..... it could be good things or bad things said..it depends on how my date went...but let her cool down, you can call her up after few days and asks her how she's doin, if she still seems cold and distant, leave the beyootch and find someone better and not so stuck up...good luck

well...how did the date go?? if you're unsure, perhaps the date didn't go that well. that could explain her behavior when asked for the second date as well as the reason for cancelling.

how well do you know her? if it was going to be a first date, then it seems like she didnt want to go and was asking her friends how to get out of it. if it wasn't, then she really may be pissed off and doesnt want to talk to anyone.

Yes, either way it goes she probably would tell her friends everything; if she's interested or not.
