Well I doubt an organ 'causes' deaths, they're hardly evil plotting little monsters inside you discussing your downfall.
If you mean are most affected by sickness causing death, it's the heart. Heat diseases and heart attacks, mostly brought on by obesity, has the highest death rate in most western countries.
