I have to agree with the first guy it takes a male and a female to make babies she will lay eggs just like chickens do but until they are fertalized there will be no baby lovebirds

I also have love birds and finches and parakeets. The females do lay eggs. If there isn't a male the eggs won't be fertile and they will just break them open. I have males and females and if the egg isn't fertile they can tell and will push the eggs out of the nest or cover them. Birds(female) still lay eggs all the time but you have to watch so they don't bind and get stuck. You want babies you have to have a male in there and that still isn't any guarantee. Good luck

do you have a male and female? If you only have a female then the reason it is not hatching is because the egg is not fertalised. If you want baby lovebirds get a guy lovebird.

Perhaps they are not fertile eggs. Sometimes a female will just lay eggs. Slowly remove them one at a time every 3-4 days. Give it more time. They may still mate.

I'm not an expert but assuming your lovebird is female and it's the only one you have, she's trying to have babies but since there's no male to fertilize the eggs, they aren't going to mature into babies.

BINGO! The guy who answered before me is right! We actually used to learn that stuff in Gym class, with the Catholic Priest standing there to make sure we learned it wrong...BUT...It takes 2
One male and One female, to reproduce.
Your bird is laying eggs just like girls do before they have their period. See it is the same thing, one unfertilized egg.
Birds just do it in a more obvious way than we girls do.

No do not take the egg out, you will only do emotional harm to the bird by doing that, instead let her sit on it for a few days to a week, then take her out and give your fid ( feathered kid) loving then while she's out of the cage, take the egg out at that time.

Ken is correct. My Cockatiel(female) has laid an egg. please ASAP get them out because some birds will feel depressed if it does not hatch.
