i like buying my dog pretty collars with little sparkly things on them and cute little designs and stuff but she always gets them really dirty. i know she is a dog and there is no way to keep her from playing in the dirt but how do i clean the collars or prevent them from getting dirty?

Give her a play collar and a dress up collar. Change them out as needed. Wash them with warm soapy water and a toothbrush...

MAYBE you could have an inside collar and an outside collar. I don't have a dog, but i have two cats, and i am the same way. I like to get them really cute collars. So maybe you could put like a regular nylon collar on her when she goes to play. And her cute one on while she's inside, or needs to show it off. Or maybe you can find a collar that you like that is cute but can be cleaned easily. I hope you figure it out :)

Make them last longer by getting a harness for your dog. My dog has had his collar for awhile but we bathe him once a week, and he has a harness on walks so his collar doesn't get pulled or torn.

They have waterproof spray that is used to put on work boots, try spraying the collars with it and when they get dirty just rinse them off.

u can hand wash them...but they have deturgent for dog items...u can check ur local pet store...u can even use llike a clorox for colors..but hand wash them..hope i helped.....Ace
