Sweet potatoes have keratin (vitamin A )and other vitamins. They also are lower on the glycemic index and therefore do not go into your bloodstream as fast and so they are less fattening. White potatoes are very high on the glycemic index and turn to sugar very fast and will pack the pounds on very quickly
