To all the unbelievers.?

Question

YOU ASK WHY I FOLLOW THIS JESUS?

You ask why I follow this Jesus?
Why I love Him the way I do?
When the world's turned away from His teachings
And the people who serve Him are few.

It's not the rewards I'm after
Or gifts that I hope to receive
It's the Presence that calls for commitment
It's the Spirit I trust and believe.

The Lord doesn't shelter His faithful
Or spare them all suffering and pain,
Like everyone else I have burdens,
And walk through my share of rain.

Yet He gives me a plan and a purpose,
And that joy only Christians have known,
I never know what comes tomorrow,
But I do know I'm never alone.

It's the love always there when you need it;
It's the words that redeem and inspire,
It's the longing to ever be with Him
That burns in my heart like a fire.

So you ask why I love my Lord Jesus?
Well, friend, that's so easy to see,
But the one thing that fills me with wonder is
Why Jesus loves someone like me.

nope. i never ask "why do you follow Jesus" because i know that you can not. Jesus hasn't been on planet for over 2000 years (if ever he was) and all you have with which to "follow" Jesus are a few rewritten, revised, revamped set of myths. myths that originated from oral stories that weren't put into writing till 50-100 years after the events decribed are purported to have taken place.

i have other questions i might ask you tho.

When one can not see he pick Jesus to be
If you think Santa is real Jesus loves me
If you failed psychology Jesus can be
When you cry Jesus molested a tree
this poem doesn't make sense to you
but Jesus doesn't make sense to me

I don't ask why someone believes the way they do. I ask WHAT they believe and how they came to that belief. Though, overall, it doesn't matter to me what you believe... it is not a factor in how I look at you as a person. It's what you DO that factors in.

I'm glad your happy, you probably needed the crutch to support you in your life. If Jesus is what makes you happy go with that. Each to his own I guess. I don't claim to understand blind faith but I'm glad your happy.

No offense, most of us "unbelievers" don't ask why you follow Jesus, however it seems that you feel compelled to tell us anyway.

Yes. Jesus love me. Yes. Jesus love me. Because the Bible tells me so. He is my protector, my everything. He is merciful, and forgiving. I am so thankful. I cannot live without Jesus. My everything. You have said everything that I feel. I cannot add to it.
