About as much a chance as Pee Wee Herman would stand against Bruce Lee.

Well, as most of them said, take up Brazilian Jiu Jutsu and Muay Thai. They are the most popular martial arts style in the UFC and especially in MMA, however, listen closely and be wise about what you do. What I mean is this... People consider Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jutsu the best martial arts and by stating that, you are practically giving in to the arrogance of the art. By giving into the arrogance, you are giving into defeat. What I mean is, don't tell yourself that Muay Thai and Jiu Jutsu are the best martial arts around because by doing so, you're underestimating the other martial arts, and to underestimate the other martial arts is practically defeat through one's arrogance. It's not dependent of the art, but the practitioner (user) of the art. Attempt to study the other arts (Not learn per say, but have a better comprehension) and by having a better understanding of those arts, you will learn why they are efficient and what can make them weak. Train hard in the arts you wish to partake in, there is no true "best art", there is only a best fighter and to make a best fighter, you must make yourself sufficient in what you are learning. Look around for schools that will teach the arts you wish to pursue and look for an efficient teacher. Don't go to just any ordinary dojo thinking it's good enough, some teachers are out there to make money... Study your teacher a bit, learn of his backround, discover what you need to know about him before taking the course, and if he doesn't seem sufficient, tell him to have a nice day and search elsewhere. Find other people to spar with and after you've entered a course, the dojo you train at should supply you with training grounds and training time for the courses. Meet new people who know more martial arts and with the more people you train with, the more you may learn from different arts and styles. There is much to learn before you can meet qualifications and it's not as glamorous as you may think. You can REALLY get hurt in the ring, so be cautious and think about this for a little while.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but by the time you got good enough to fight at the same caliber as GSP he would be retired already. It takes many years of practice and training and even then you may or may not have the athletic ability to fight professionally. You might really enjoy doing MMA though so go ahead and give it a go. It could be really fun to train and see what your body can do. Good luck.

well first you will have to train in a couple different kinds of martial arts for about 15-20 years. then start going into fights at local MMA tournaments. then from there just work your way up to the top until your in the ufc and then you still might not have enough experience but you could try anyway. right now you would be down and out in a heart beat. so get off of yahoo answers and start getting to work. Good Luck!

As of now no. One because you have to know the true meaning of vale tudo. 2. Because I'm going to get the welterweight title. But You should look at the history and watch lots of old and new MMA. See you in the cage.

yeah a chance in hell. sorry don't even think you would have a chance with a gun. GSP would probably kick it out of you hand, it would hit the ground, go off and accidentally shoot you in the butt. but it is nice to dream.
