Most UFC fighters have spent years training and working their way up on lesser known mma events. You have to start at the bottom and work your way up. Start by joining a mma class and if you develop into a good fighter you can fight in mma tournaments

ok first things first. forget about being a fighter in the ufc! haha not to say dont dream, just give yourself a chance to learn and have fun. once you have found a stlye and a club that you like you can compete for fun and then start thinking if you have what it takes to go pro. just focus on getting fit and having fun!

start with lifting weights....strictly full body/powerlifting/complex workouts....really concentrate on explosive powerr.....you DONT do weight splits like a bodybuilder when MMA training
cardio workouts should consist of sprints...none of this sissy jogging stuff if you want to actually stand a chance
for hand work join a boxing gym....very good place to start...learn the basics...especially taking a punch and keeping on going
kicking maybe tae kwon do(but forget about the fancy stuff)/kickboxing/muay thai class.........all are good
Judo, roman greco wrestling and Juijitsu are great for grappling and whatnot(and NO juijitsu isn't the end all martial art, just overly displayed one)

Your either a fighter or your not. Those MMA guys like to fight, they like to train, and they like to hurt people, they don't mind getting hurt, and are generally crazier then normal people. So if this is you, then join an american freestyle gym. train muay thai, jujitsu, and grappling, and definately condition your body to hurt folks, thats most important.

how about starting to train, so that your body can match your mind. you want that which you cannot achieve on dreams, hard work is needed.
