More and more of our youth are becoming overwhelmingly obese. Sadly there are already groups that say that God hates <>… groups. So sad!!! Isn't it ironic that eventually these poor people will be persecuted as well? What does that say about the groups that are currently persecuted?

It says in the bible that being overweight is a sin. a sin is anything that comes between you and Gods spirit.my mother was overweight, she didn't eat to much. she was just that way and she was the most wonderful Christian I have ever met, I don't believe all that Jewish crap in the old testament. I believe what Jesus said. and taught. love is the main thing he said was most important.this bringing the old mythological Jewish teachings into Christianity is crazy. It is not a sin to be overweight. I will kick anyones a s s that says my mother was committing a sin by being overweight.but that s what the Jews will tell you in there old testiment. the damn fools. who beleive all that . well there badly mistaken. Jesus is the way. not the old Jewish ways.

Give it time - some group will come up with some stupid doctrine based on Gluttony being one of the 7 deadly sins.

Nothing like perverting a nice philosophy/religion is there?

Oral Roberts University has a policy in place that they do not accept fat people. Being overweight or obese is considered gluttony. They consider this so evil that they won't take gluttonous students.

God loves his creation and made it good. But man became bad through disobedience to God and sinned against Him. Sin separates us from God. That is why you need to be born-again. In John 3 we read that Jesus said "Unless a man is born-again he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven."

God loves you and wants you to know Him through a personal relationship. If you repent of your sins to God and trust Jesus to save you then you will become a new creation and seek righteousness instead of sinfulness.

God is going to judge sin, and sorrowfully those who do not repent of their sins. That is why we need a savior in Jesus Christ. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but through me." John 14:6.

Jesus saves.

I have thought of that or maybe lazy people. The thing is though is fat people or lazy people can still be of the opposite sex and marry. I think another group of people is jealous of this.

It is a great rule of thumb to ignore everything that comes from the mouths of religious 'Christians'. A christian adj. (small c) is a spiritual caring person. A Christian noun (capital C) is a religious person and should be treated as clueless.
