It is going to be tough if you confront this situation alone. Someone in your class (or classes under the same teacher) should write a petition for justice and get as many students to sign on it. With this, you may have sufficient ammunition to talk to the principal and to make sure two things happen:

1) that losing of papers do not happen again
2) that the grades be moderated fairly

Perhaps you should take the lead?

Well, it depends on where you put your paper. Sometimes, whenever, I put my paper on the teacher's desk or something, she looses it too. Talk to your guidance counselor first( going to your guidance counselor along with a few other people who have experienced the same situation is a good idea) and then your principle. Putting your name on one of those colored post its and attaching it to the paper always helps. next time, you submit anything in, I think you should take a copy of it, so you can show her the proof that you did do it and that she just lost it and best of all, she can't fail you next semester!

The vocab element substitute into probable only some factors.

Yes, you should tell someone, principal, guidance officer, parents, and get the other students to go with you and tell about her losing their papers also. She should have at least given you a low passing grade. If she is still your teacher, have someone with you when you turn your papers in. Do something. she is not fair........................

If you are on the computer than I'm sure you know what a flash drive (usb) is. Always save your papers on one. That way you can have a copy printed from that. Your school should do it for you as it is school work. Ask a counselor to do that for you.

if you are convinced that she lost your paper and it happens frequently, you should start a petition or send a complaint to the guidance department or administration. a teacher should be more organized than that. for now, you have to do re-do your paper, because ultimately she controls your grade, regardless of what you think.

you should tell someone. if you did it, then that's not fair. Tell someone if you have to, if it gets that bad.
