It is like this; take the Old Testament and take out of it the law of Moses, fulfill the prophesies about the Messiah, and what you essentially have is the New Testament. Oh, by the way, the 10 Commandments are NOT part of the law of Moses, but are in fact THE Law of God. And another thing is that Jesus repeated ALL of the commandments of God in the four Gospels, the fourth commandment is found in Mark 2:27,28; Mat 12:8.

He didn't, he still worshipped the same God as the Jews did. The next statement doesn't make sense and whether the Bible is truly arrogant it doesn't explain that Jesus created a new religion as implied.

what part of the Bible is arrogant? Jesus came to show the world how to love and forgive each other. would you let someone nail you to a cross for strangers that you didnt even know? he did it cuz he loved EVERYONE. not just his mother or father but the whole world. we called it christianity after he was alredy gone.

Jesus came to create a new covenant with mankind. He wasnt so much making a "new religion" as he was completing the only true one to begin with; belief in the God of Abraham.

He didnt come to start a new religion but to finish (fullfill) the promises of an old one. All through the OT, the Jews are told to prepare and wait for their Messiah (Messiah in Greek is "Christ") Jesus came, He was the predicted Messiah (Christ) those who heard and followed Him were called Christians (Christ followers= Messiah Followers) so in actuallity, OT Jews were waiting to become Christians.

first historical mention of christianity is several hunder years after christs death so even if it did exist at the beginning of the christian faith there is a fairly substantial chance that the texts or storys may have been altered somewhat to serve the agenda of various individual and thats before the catholics got hold of it and done A lot more cut and pastes

Jesus was just trying to show us the way to heaven. It's we as people who feel the need to put a label on everything

Jesus came to fulfill God's original Covenant with His people. So Christianity is the fulfillment of the Jewish Faith.

No, he didn't. The people who change the old and new testament are the people who wants to create a new religion...

I don't think so, no. That does not negate the Bible, although one must note that it's a book written, edited, translated, and interpreted by very fallible humans.
