If you are not married. You have your freedom, but if not write letters every day. If you love him, this is just one of many test that will occur during your relationship. Watch the Notebook. If it is really love, you will be able to endure it. Read all the Nicholas Sparks books. Write books. Convert your thoughts and letters into a book for your guy to read (since overseas mail takes a while anyway). Pray for you loved one. Attend church services. Get involved with community service. Find creative ways that will not only help your man but also the many others that are in the conflict an ocean away.

Hang out with other military wives, family, friends. Write lots of letters, take up a new hobby. volunteer for something you enjoy doing. Just keep yourself busy, and surrounded by people. Remodel the house, paint it.

Find things to do. Volunteer to help others, take a class, go out with your friends, learn a new hobby, skill or sport. Fill your time with good things.

Sassy, your soldier man will never get tired of reading your emails and letters and cards.
No, I can't tell you how not to be lonely, but I can tell you that every time you write to him, you will feel closer to him.
Good Luck
PS. Please thank him for his service and his sacrifices. A veteran.
