If a soldier recently was recommended by the E-5 board but his high speed unit hasn't told him how many promotion points he has, how does he find out?

Isn't there a way to look it up online? I don't want to call someone on Thanksgiving to find out how many promotion points I have. I can't find it on my ERB.

Go to military personnel office and ask for personnel actions section and a promotion clerk and they can pull your file and tell you. Then they can tell you how you stand in relation to current point requirements to get promoted and how to get more points so you have the best chance.

you can get the DA 3355 and add them up yourself to find out how many you have. it shouldn't be a suprise. you can also look on the c10 roster that comes down monthly from S-1. it has all the soldiers names and total points. i would check your ERB online at AKO, but sometimes it isn't updated.

a "HIGHSPEED" soldier does his DA3355 prior to attending a board. Then you add in your points you got from going to the board. Each month then you have to sign a printout with your points on it. It is REQUIRED to be initialed every month and is posted in the Orderly Room.

Collect your points, and at the end of the month, we have a raffle. The joke is that once everyone uses their points, then we'll start offering honorable discharges, trips home, and pardon from duty. And there you'll be, pissed that you outbid your bud just to get some heart trinket to send home to your lousy gf.
