I asked about this a few days ago. She's in her eary to mid 20's, had a f'ed up past, suffered from a lot of abuse, and is a virgin. Does that mean she won't have the mindset to have a child?

Sounds like a match to me: Abused woman, freaked out by ugly sex forced on her, no joy in her past to make for a good parent or wife and as a result is a virgin Getting With an old fool who is an emotional cripple knowing that the only young stuff he can get is damaged goods and he wants to father a child a few years or a decade before he croaks. Lucky child, don't you think? Or did you think about how lucky such a child would be? It is ALL about the child and NOT YOU or HER. Neither one of you is fit to be a parent. You are prolonging her abuse by giving her any hope that you are not a self indulgent user of the wounded.
Believe me, gramps, ALL of us answering your question HOPE she doesn't have the mindset to have a child with YOU or any man until she has grown healthy through good therapeutic intervention.
The Widder Brown down the street from you will take you on I am sure.

Why would someone in his 60's even want to deliberately get ANYONE pregnant? More than likely they won't live to see the child grow up, get married, etc. And, even if someone decided to go for it anyway, why would a man want a woman with a f'ed up past and an abuse victim to be his child's mother? I don't think it's wrong, per se, just maybe misguided.

She is a virgin? She is pregnant? Is she the Virgin Mary? So she was abuse...doesn't mean she'll have the mindset of a child...she can have one, but not from a 60 something year old man. That is just plain wrong.

If she's had a f'd up past, then she doesn't need a f'd up future. Bringing another life into the world will not help her. The 60 year old won't be around or won't be capable of helping her raise this child. Steer clear.

If you already think her past was f'-ed up, then why are you thinking about screwing her up even more? If she's considering what you're suggesting she's probably confused and you should be compassionate enough not to take advantage of her. Help her improve her perception of herself, don't destroy her.

Do not take this the wrong way but what do you see in someone young enough to be your child?

Aren't your sperm in rockin chairs and knitting clothes? How do you plan to be there for that child? You probably won't live to see that child turn 30. -slaps you- That girl is old enough to be your grandchild!!!!

If she's experienced life then it's OK. She's a woman. If she hasn't had a lot of life experience then I don't think it's OK for the 60 year old man to take advantage of her innocence.

not only is not in the right set of mind she might confuse this as love. which i think is not, not at this point atleast? if you really love her and want to be with her give it time see where this relationship is headed too.
