Does anyone know how to convert pdf files to jpg for free?

Open Paint application from Start->Accessories-> Paint
Open the pdf file in Adobe Acrobar.
Copy the contents of the pdf file to clipboard by
Edit-> Copy file to clipboard.
In the Paint application Click Edit ->Paste.
Save the Paint file as .jpg file.

I have a Macintosh, and it's easy to download Graphics Converter. It converts from just about anything to just about anything. If you have Windows, there's probably something similar for it. Check out VersionTracker:
