hi im a soccer player this year im trying to gain a little more muscle on my frame but i want to ask if you should only do one type of exercises while working a certain group because i been doing dumbell curls i have seen some strength but a lack of toning and muscle size so what should i do?

You'll never tone up by doing just one exercise. It'll take years.
Try using the dumbells in different directions, twirl them around to work all the muscles in your lower arm and wrist. Bend over and work your triceps, since they make up 2/3 or 66% of the muscle mass of your upper arm. Big triceps are a big turn on for the ladies.
Do 5 sets of 15-20 reps with a weight you feel comfortable with.
