Actually there is a movement within the Catholic Church to move in that direction . . .
Only one has the right to be an intercessor:
Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

please elaborate , do you mean the singer , she a bit of an attention seeker and I wouldn't really regard her as Holy but waht ever makes you happy
or do you mean the virgin Mary ... hang on don't catholics alraedy do that pray to and venerate the Virgin Mary , Kinda breaks the laws of their own faith in my opinion
or do you mean the Madonna as in the Magnalene ,The wife of Jesus Christ , ( yes I know contraversial isn't it) , The high priestess of another spritual group who worshipped a pagan god, yes well that would put an interesting spin on things
