At Least $900. I chose this mainly because it has been worn but platinum is a really good metal and its a 0.5 diamond.

I can not tell the brilliancy or clarity of the ring so I cannot tell you. Even if it is a carat diamond ring it could be 1000 or less depending on the clarity of the ring and so forth. Can you see the "specks in the ring" how many are there? If there is alot it is probably a cheaper ring. If it is real and not cubic zarconia etc. I cannot say for sure. On ebay I would say much much cheaper. 200 dollars maybe. I'm not a big ebay person. You would probably get more having it appraised.

The gem grading isn't bad and for platinum that is a good price. $400. But a lot of money to plunk down for an ebay item. Something I would never do. Just my personal opinion. Contact the seller ask for a picture of what is stamped inside the band of the ring. Like 10k for 10 karat gold 14k for 14 karat gold.gf means gold filled, etc etc. also ask where the ring was purchased so you can maybe look the store up online. Also ask if they have a receipt or if they can get a copy.

I wouldn't pay for a ring that was meant for someone else so $0. But if I had to put a price on it I would say about $200. Because I don't think it is very pretty...maybe the picture but it doesn't look right to me

I wouldn't pay $400.00 for that! The clarity is not that great and it isn't the best looking setting. If this is for an engagement ring, I would highly advisde you not buy it on ebay! You can get all kinds of great rings from other reliable stores at better prices!

A used ring is like a used car, it loses a lot of value as soon as you drive it off the lot. It doesnt help that the diamond is a very poor quality and very small, and not even GIA or EGL certified. If I really wanted that ring, I would offer maybe $100.

I would take it to a jeweler and have it appraised. Be aware, on ebay, people are going to be gun shy of bidding because you have 0 feedback, and you're selling such a big ticket item. You probably won't get as much for it as you'd like either. You might be better off selling it to an independent jeweler. If he/she can't re-sell the ring as is, they can use the stones and metal. Best of luck to you.

Max of 200. Most people don't like platinum, nor the marquise cut. And used is used.
Note: if this was your engagement ring and you are no longer engaged, you are supposed to return the ring to the guy!

Depending on the cut and clarity of the diamond it would make big difference. Probably not much more than they are asking. Whatever you pay for it make sure it is in your size because you can not have platinum adjusted to fit you finger.

If I honestly wanted that ring...knowing it has a resale value of about $275 or less to any reputable jewelry store....I'd pay the opening bid.
