Why so you can gripe about feeding and clothing and arming the very people that save our lives??Contradicting yourself arent you?I thought you guys want to abolish our military and have that new world order you are working for.We get enough whiners about President Bush..,we put a dictator to rule over all the countries, wont we have a happy place?

Good idea but where are we going to get 500,000 troops? You think Iraq has a civil war problem, just wait till you see the revolution that erupts in the US when/if the Govt. declares a draft.

More troops is not the answer.
At the height of the Viet Nam war, we had over 500,000 troops deployed - and we still couldn't "take over the place."
Bottom line, it is up to the Iraqis themselves to stand up and route out the Islamic terrorists - if they don't fight for their own freedoms and rights, all of the military and humanitarian aid we can muster won't win us a victory.

We could do that. But what would we do after that ? We would have to keep a very high troop level afterwards to keep the peace. Were in a real mess. No good way out so far.

Because we don't have the the 500,000 troops, that would leave us vulnerable all over the world.

First of all there are not that many troops left
to send anywhere as we still need some troops
home to defend our country. Irag war will not
be won by us by sending more troops as we
are not street fighters we are jungle fighters.

Because the goal is to give the country to the people who live there. This will be the first time they were ever free.

I'll take that as carcasim.Because we should be worrying about our own problems. We can't fix everything. Didn't we learn anything from Veitnam? We should not be so blinded by our leaders and search our heart for what is right?

That's exactly what John McCain is proposing, he has supported Bush's insane war right down the line and wants to continue the killing.
