Our choices are between right and wrong not whether or not to feel. Not sure where you got this. It's neither right nor wrong to have pain so where would you get a thought like that? You could however choose how it will effect you, will it ruin your day or wont it? But you might be interested in knowing Scientology teaches that pain is an illusion you can choose to feel or not to feel. Maybe you confused "religious" people with Scientologists?

Your sensitive nerves has given you the freedom to insult the people you know do not have the nerve to insult you back. Although I wish not to hurt your feelings but my choice of freedom has given me the opportunity to tell you that are also a freak.

Pain is an aspect of the mind. Unconsciously, yes, people can choose not to feel pain, and there are some people who are capable of overcoming the pain factor in their instinctive, primitive minds.
About freedom of choice: You can't lump everything into one category and then accuse people to be foolish because they believe in something you don't... please, learn a little tolerance, will you?

I love the "freedom of choice" dodge. You make such a good point here.
When people tell me that I'm "choosing" hell, I have to wonder what would happen in our "sinful" human world, if a person did something like that. If a human chose to walk into fire and stay there - we would stop them. Protect them for their own good. Get them good mental care. Yet somehow when a god lets us "choose" this kind of torture, it's loving and above us and oh-so-mysterious.

That is a dumb analogy.
Come up with a better way to ask your question, because it really is worth exploring.

I like playing this game too, especially when several of my friends and I are sitting 'round drinking beers.
We start by trying to say your question, only, it sounds like this:
Gibberish, gibberish, gibberish, gibberish, gibberish, gibberish, gibberish, gibberish, gibberish, gibberish.
(Say it as fast as you can, 10 times!! It Becomes Gibberish!!)
