"I only know they are disgusting....and they can carry a lot of deceases like aids "

"you'll be guaranteed a life of making minimum wage"

if you get this piercing every day you will get opinions from narrow minded people like these guys:(^
only get it done if it is what you want and you feel it will make you happy - DO NOT GET PIERCED TO FIT IN WITH A SCENE!

lip piercings will not give you aids as long as you get it done in a clean and reputable piercing place and they have cleaned their equipment properly!
they are of no higher risk that any other piercing

there are many different kinds of lip piercings
i have/have had a medusa,a vertical labret, a horizontal labret and a ashley piercing.

if you just type these into google you will see what i mean

lip piercings are really quick and easy to get done and they heal really fast as well - you need to be sure about this one as they DO leave a scar
it is not an obvious one. but it will be there forever

they do not make eating, kissing or talking any different once you are used to them being there

the aftercare for them is realtively simple.. lots of mouthwash

Well pain is different for people i found mine was a little uncomfortable when i had it done but not that sore and as for aftercare salt water is the best many artists advise not to use mouthwash at first as the antisceptic in them is very strong and may reject your piercing to try heal your body!!!

it is important to keep it clean wash your mouth out after smoking, eating and to be on the safe side not to kiss "passionately" the first week your mouth is a pool of bacteria hence someone elses will be too so be safe!!!

i havent had any problems
find the attached site is help full

Any mouth piercing(tongue or lip) could cause dental problems. My fiance had a labret but took it out due to gum recession. His sister has a side lip ring and hasn't had a problem out of it. No dental problems, problems with infection, or with kissing. If you are looking to get a lip piercing talk to a professional piercer about placement, signs of infection, and potential problems.

i had mine done b4, not very painful, its just quick. Eating is ok unless you accidently bit on the ring then it stings. Lip swells for a few days. I only had mine in for a month or 2 and i can still feel the hole even tho its closed up. Mine didnt get infected at all it was healing well but if i can remember it wasnt the easiest to change and it didnt feel to good.

Oh they look hott on most people, but if you plan to take it out later it can leave a scar. hope this helps! =]

I know enough to know that shoving a piece of metal through your lip is unnatural and it will hurt and get infected as my friends did and she had to have part of her lip removed now she talks like a retard.

they Dont cause any diseases if the equipment is sterile and the piercer wears gloves and knows what they're doing. The jewelry should be implant grade surical steel (like they use inside your body) If they are cared for properly they wont get infected. everyone has a different pain threshold so that varies person to person. I personally dont have one.
