Deal with the fact that you two have broken up. You should let people know that you have broken up because then it opens that dating field for you again. I don't think your friends will treat you any differently, they will find out sooner or later and i think they would appreciate to know now instead of later about what has happend. Good friends are always there for you and if you are afraid they will treat you differently ask them not to.

Well your friends are going to find out anyway so just tell them and then tell them that you don't want them to feel sorry for you or anything. That you'll be ok. You'll feel better that at least someone else knows

Out of everyone you know, who do you feel the most comfortable in confiding to??? That should be the person that can
help you deal with your emotions.

Um mm, you don`t think anyone would find out eventually and what would they think of you then? Don`t pretend like everythings alright when it`s not, you are not just lying to them you are lying to yourself, because you are keeping the relationship alive that way. TELL them already! How would you feel if situations were reversed and one of your good girlfriends would keep something like that from you and lie to you. Wouldn`t you feel betrayed? Think about it.

Your friends will eventually find out, there's no way to prevent it. Tell your best frieind about it. Also, there's nothing wrong with letting your other friends finding out, if they show their sympathy towards you, it just means that you have good friends that care about you.
